|Remy Gardner will officially enter MotoGP starting the 2022 season with Tech 3|
Otofrend - Starting next season, KTM will also be strengthened by two strong young riders from Moto2 . The two drivers are Remy Gardner and Raul Fernandez .
Currently, both riders are members of the same team, namely Red Bull KTM Ajo.
Both of them are also competing for the 2021 Moto2 world title. The difference in points they have is very tight.
KTM does have a very focused nursery of young drivers. The manufacturer has teams in the Moto3, Moto2 and MotoGP classes.
However, Repsol Honda Team Manager Alberto Puig , said that this does not guarantee that KTM will be strong and competitive. The policy they have made is very good.
They have a championship for promotion and a lot of good riders come from there.
Puig added, KTM took advantage of these riders and put them in KTM's teams. As a manufacturer, Puig says KTM is competitive and has grown rapidly in recent years.
"Now, just see how it goes. Signing the best driver does not guarantee victory," said Puig. In addition to KTM, Ducati is also starting to focus on young riders. Many young riders from Moto2 were targeted and placed in the satellite team, such as Jorge Martin, Enea Bastianini, and Luca Marini. "Ducati has a motorbike that everyone says is fantastic. But, the last world title won by (Casey) Stoner has been a very long time," said Puig.
